Wattbike X Leicester Tigers Partnership Continues

We are thrilled to announce the renewal of our partnership with the Leicester Tigers Rugby Club for the upcoming season! This collaboration has been a source of immense pride for us at Wattbike, and we are excited to continue supporting one of the most prestigious rugby clubs in the UK.

As part of our ongoing commitment, we will work closely with Leicester Tigers to enhance their training and performance using our state-of-the-art Wattbike technology.

Stephen Loftus (Wattbike CEO) added...

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Leicester Tigers. Seeing our bikes play a crucial role in their training and performance is incredibly rewarding. Our product is steeped in history supporting the highest level of all sports and we are grateful that we can continue to do so in the top tier of Premiership rugby.

We look forward to another exciting season working together and supporting the Tigers as they strive to battle it back to the top of the Premiership."

A Warm Welcome to Michael Cheika

We are also delighted to extend a warm welcome to the Leicester Tigers' new Head Coach, Michael Cheika. He joins Tigers after a two-year stint as Head Coach of Los Pumas, the Argentina national men’s team, which he led to fourth place at the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Michael brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the team. We can’t wait to see how his Wattbike scores stack up! Welcome to the Wattbike family Michael.

Over The Years

Our partnership with Leicester Tigers has been one of performance giving players the equipment they need to perform at their best on the pitch. Wattbike has played a crucial role in the team's preparation and success over the years. One highlight from our collaboration is the Leicester Tigers Mini-series, where we provided an inside look at how the team incorporates Wattbike into their training.

For the players and coaches, the Wattbike has become an essential tool. It offers detailed insights into performance metrics, enabling them to fine-tune their workouts and replicate the game’s demands. Whether it’s during preseason conditioning and testing or mid-season recovery, the Wattbike helps the Tigers maintain peak physical condition, ensuring they are always ready to face their next challenge on the field.

Here’s Leicester Tiger’s Strength and Conditioning Coach Will Findley’s thoughts on the use of Wattbike across the season.

"We use Wattbike across various parts of the program, to impact performance on the field. From recovery post-game to targeted off-feet conditioning blocks, the Wattbike allows us to make sessions competitive, within both team and individual settings."

"It's not just about pushing players to their limits; it's about strategic utilisation of the bike. Whether it's flushing out fatigue after a game or pushing the boundaries of physical limits in preseason to be at our best, the Wattbike ensures that players are primed for peak performance come game day."
